Another School Vacation Survived

The week-long February vacation is almost at a close. It will be good to get back to the routine. I have to say, I woke up earlier each day this week than I usually do -- isn't there something backwards about that? I have to say, the kids were well behaved. We didn't do anything too exciting other than a couple of playdates and a trip to a local museum which turned out to be a yawn.


I was able to finish up this owl painting and collage, but I have to keep them away from the shop for awhile; they're intended for display at the upcoming Grafton Fine Arts show. I'd love to do a series of paintings based on the colors and patterns in this one, so I'd better get cracking!!!
