E-I-E-I-O...this painting was done for my dear cousin, in anticipation of her first baby. She and her husband live on a large farm in Vermont and just adore their animals, so of course...it is on the large side, over 24" across, so I could not scan it successfully. The details in the pic aren't showing as well as I'd like, but luckily I have a pic highlighting the blue chicken!
And why not a blue chicken? Better to fuel the baby's imagination right away.
